About Claire
Teaching has allowed me to discover how much I enjoy making learning enjoyable and accessible. Before pursuing Civil Engineering, I studied Psychology, where I developed a particular interest in child psychology. Learning about children's cognitive and emotional development deepened my appreciation for how they learn and inspired me to build meaningful connections with young learners. This is one of the reasons I genuinely enjoy interacting with children and creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts.

I believe I bring a unique combination of teaching experience, a genuine passion for working with children, and a strong mathematical foundation. My experience as a home tutor has taught me how to make students feel comfortable and motivated, while my Civil Engineering education has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, my background in Psychology sparked my interest in child development, which helps me understand how children learn and adapt my teaching style to meet their needs. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and enjoyable so students not only improve in math but also gain confidence in themselves.
