About Colton
I know how hard math can be, I didn't do it at all for a long time and when I tried to start again it was very hard. Although I have always enjoyed math, I have had my fair share of struggles as well, so I have learned some strategies that help me learn math better. I realized just how much I loved math when I was taking a college math class, and I realized just how useful math is for everything that we do. As a result of that, I decided to minor in math, in addition to my engineering major that also uses lots of math.

I enjoy teaching through visual representations of abstract concepts, like graphs, figures, and real-world examples. I also love helping people see the actual uses of math and how concepts build on each other. As a current student, I know how frustrating math can be, so I try to make it as simple as possible. I can tutor any math subject from basic arithmetic for elementary school children up through multivariable calculus for college students.
