About Samanyu
I am a people-oriented person who is dedicated to providing excellent tutoring services by applying the skills I have gained as a mathematics, language, and science tutor for the past 2 years. I have experience with tutoring all grade levels from grade 1-10. I am also qualified in the sense that I have a proven academic track record of 90%+ average in high school and 85% average in university so far where I have achieved a Dean's Honour List award.

From my 2 years of tutoring experience, I have learned that the ideal approach to teaching is starting off the first tutoring session with gauging the current skill level of the student such that I have a better understanding of of their academic strengths and potential weaknesses. I also ensure that I start connecting with the students by sharing my own past academic experiences.
After having a decent understanding of what the students needs to improve on, I start the lesson by introducing the concept, then explaining it along with 3-4 different examples. Then, I start off with easier problems/questions where I can work through the problem with the student and try to build their confidence with the concept by slowly introducing more independent problem solving and as always be of help whenever they are stuck. This process will reiterate as required and then move on to more challenging problems or concepts.
My lessons are for grade 1-10 and it includes all skill levels, whether it is for a student who is needing help with their homework/concepts taught in class or a student who just wants to keep learning and get ahead of their grade level. I assure that I will give my complete dedication and commitment to the students' learning and progress.
