About Marwan
I am a current Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Warwick. I have a passion for problem solving and believe there is nothing more satisfying than finding the solution to a problem after a good bit of working out. I therefore strive to provide students with the tools and knowledge to solve problems and exam questions, which will ultimately help them improve their grades.
I achieved A*'s in Maths, Physics and Engineering at A level, along with 9s all round at GCSE, I therefore know what it takes to succeed in these subjects, and am ready to pass on this knowledge and skills to likeminded students.
In year 13, I also found myself "tutoring" my own classmates, as a result of my work ethic and way of explaining concepts through application, a skill I intend to carry over.

I teach through a combination of walkthroughs and practice questions. I believe the best way to progressis through practice practice and more practice, exam questions will therefore form a key part of my lessons, along with explanations of the underlying knowledge that goes behind each question. This is particularly useful for students in year 11 and 13 who are approaching exam season. You can therefore expect lessons to be 1-2 hours long, to allow for clear explanations of content, and sufficient practice of exam questions.
I have previously worked as a tutor for my own school as a year 13 student, where I planned and organised short morning sessions with year 10 and 11 students in preperation for their GCSEs.
