About Mariana

Hi, my name is Mariana Damasceno, I teach American English for tutoring and conversation.

I am a graduate student in Advertising and Advertising at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (UAM), graduated in Visual Communication technician by Etec Doctor Maria Augusta Saraiva (ETEC MAS) and I have studied English for 8 years and during all these years taking classes at school, private lessons and classes in language schools, I identified the biggest challenges as a student to achieve fluency in English and have confidence when putting the language into practice!

I believe that English can be learned in a dynamic way, focusing on the language spoken by native speakers, knowing not only the grammar of the language, but also its variations such as slang, abbreviations, forms of treatment, among other specifications that bring your knowledge as close as possible to true English.

About the lesson

My teaching method was built on all the ways to learn English I've had.
I added everything that was practical for language understanding and turned what was complicated into something easy!

I always try to focus on the student's needs, after all, we don't have the same facilities and difficulties. Therefore, I prepare personalized materials, including the language in common student activities, in order to insert the English language into everyday life, arousing more and more interest in studies.

Brief description of how the classes are:
> Classes with conversation in English from beginning to end to make it a habit to speak in English;
> At the end of the content presentation, fixation is done through examples, revisions and lots of practice;
> Talking about everyday happenings, likes and discussions about optional subjects is a great way to put into practice viewed content and lose the shame;
> Analysis and examples taken from movies, music, series and drawings that the student likes stimulates the insertion of English in their daily lives;
> Presentation and explanation of idioms in English.
