About Deborah

For me, teaching does not mean that I have all the knowledge and that I just have to pass it on to the students in order to perform well. It is also about assisting and guiding my learners in their learning. This is why I often prefer to use the term “coaching” rather than “teaching.”

I always adapt to your needs and your desires, I listen to your difficulties, and together we work in a positive environment so that you can gain confidence and real progress, no matter what you are looking to improve yourself in:

Oral production/conversation
Reading comprehension
Listening comprehension
Writing
Pronunciation
Preparation for an exam

I graduated from CELTA (Cambridge University), and this training allowed me to develop a communicative approach where the practice of English is at the heart of each lesson.
Together we will be able to achieve the goal of every learner of a foreign language: to be able to communicate in this language! :)

About the lesson

Together we define your basic level, your objectives, and especially your desires, in order to allow you to progress in English in a fun and personalized way!

Here we speak only in English, but don't worry! Everything is adapted to allow you to follow the lessons, the instructions, and the discussions without difficulty and that the challenge remains constantly motivating :)

My main goal is to create a favorable atmosphere to talk and use the language as much as possible in different situations, while also working on texts and on oral comprehension.

I use materials both authentic and from English textbooks. During the lessons, I mainly focus on practising the language, so there is often a little work to be done outside of the lessons on all the writing and reading parts in order to be able to make the most of each session together! :)

I fully adapt to you, so there is no obligation to follow a strict schedule or work on all language skills. Our goal will be the one you want to achieve :)
