About Carolyn
I've been tutoring informally for ten years, and formally teaching for three. I love working one on one and many of my students have gone on to do exceedingly well in college.
I've worked with students on everything from Resume's to Dissertations with nothing but success in their writing endeavors. I take great pride in being a facilitator of the voices of others. Students have won awards for presentations created under my guidance, scholarships, and acceptance to their top choice schools.

I am a secondary English teacher at a small private High School. I love language and expression and have a Masters degree in literature. I also teach ESL online to students from China!
I can tutor both in-person and online and I prefer a one-on-one approach where I can conference with you about essays, literature, creative writing, spelling, study skills, executive functioning, 7-12AP English, college applications, and any type of composition.
My teaching philosophy is that teachers are a resource for students to tap into for their own benefit. If you work with me I will give 110% to help you find your voice and learn everything you can to succeed!
