About Tlotliso

I am currently a student doing a course in Radio Production. I excelled with a B+ for English in my school leaving report. This is my first exploration into tutoring English professionally however I have always tutored my peers or others around me who needed help. I enjoy the English language as a medium of expression and I feel that it is easy and simple to understand with the right help!

About the lesson

My name is Tlotliso Hope Ngqumeya, a 19-year-old student doing a learnership in Radio Production. In my study I am required to take the English language and use it in a manner that is simple yet very educational to the listener. I worked at an online radio station called Fashion District Radio as a presenter and a scriptwriter. This was one of my highlights as I am such a lover of the English language

Compassion and patience is the very root of who I am therefor it is seamless for me to be a teacher in anyway. I offer my learners a space where they are open and free, this creates opportunity for them to express their level of understanding honestly.

As English is a language, to learn it correctly you need to speak it on a daily basis. This is why my methodology is around repatition, which creates a pathway of memory on the brain. I also believe in making the language relatable to the individual. Many people find interest and importance in things they can relate to, thus making the language personal to the leaner makes it easier for them to learn and remember.

I am a fun and creative individual who has a passion for what she does. I strive to share this passion to the student in a creative and fun way as well.
