About Lousika
Why Superprof? I signed up to Superprof in the hopes of helping my parents finance my master's studies abroad, which are much more expensive than in France (Japan).
Academic level? Once I had my baccalaureate (17.51 average), I enrolled in a political science program, wishing to specialize in Franco-Asian international relations (India, Japan, China, Taiwan).
My story? My passion for English began at the age of 10, thanks to my middle school teacher: through very rigorous but comprehensive teaching, and by pulling her students to the top, she made me love this international yet full-of-history language, closer to French than one might think despite its difficulties.
This is what I would like to be for you or the person you would like me to help (re)learn English — yourself, friend, child, parent, grandparent…
My personality? My passions? I'm very smiley and I easily lighten the atmosphere, but don't doubt my dynamism, my seriousness, and my desire to share my English knowledge!
I love many things, but Japan and India are among the first things that come to mind! I'm currently learning Japanese and I am also actively learning about geopolitical dynamics in Indo-Pacific Asia.
Hoping to see you again very soon! Lousika.🩷

I like to think that learning in a fun way is the most effective solution: by approaching the language through a subject you love, an academic or professional goal, a commitment close to your heart, a foreign friend with whom you'd like to communicate better, or simply by the love of improving yourself. So many reasons to learn English!
But I can also opt for a more academic way of learning, which is also necessary for learning a foreign language (learning and using irregular verbs, conjugation, building simple or complex sentences, everyday vocabulary, work on specific difficulties, etc.).
The most important thing is the direction that you wish to take: my first goal is to accompany you through the long but rewarding journey that is learning English.
I have a lot of experience in speaking and writing English, as many of my friends do not live in France (Netherlands, Singapore, Japan)! I take some university courses in English, and I also communicate in English with my French and Japanese friends who want to improve their English.
To prove this, and also to give myself the means to make my dream of studying abroad come true, I took the first international English proficiency exam (TOEFL iBT), where I obtained a score of 107/120 at 18 years old, where the top French and international universities only require to score 100 points.

I have known Lousika for a while now, our friendship built on having many conversations in English. They range from simple, lighthearted banter to more complex, and sophisticated topics that truly require a proper understanding of the English language. She is incredibly kind and patient, qualities that I believe make her a fitting tutor for anyone wanting to learn or relearn English.
