About Miguel

Hello, thanks for stopping by!

I'm Miguel, an 8th-semester Modern Languages student who truly enjoys teaching and learning languages. I teach English, French, and Spanish, and I love making learning feel natural, relatable, and useful for real life.

In my classes, we don't just cover grammar and vocabulary (which are important, yes); we also talk, listen, think, and, above all, connect with the language through everyday life. I use authentic materials, varied exercises, culture, music, and whatever best suits you and your interests.

I've worked in conversation clubs and with students of different levels and countries, so I know how important it is to feel comfortable in order to learn. I like to create a space where you can make mistakes without fear, ask questions, laugh, and progress at your own pace.

If you're looking for meaningful classes, tailored to you, and with someone who truly enjoys teaching, I'd be happy to guide you through this process. See you in class!

About the lesson

As a language teacher, my goal is to make learning meaningful, applicable, and motivating. My approach is holistic and personalized, combining structured grammar instruction with a strong emphasis on real-world communication, culture, and critical thinking.

I am currently in my eighth semester of a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages, which has allowed me to develop both a solid theoretical foundation and practical teaching experience. I have actively participated in English and French conversation clubs and provided personalized tutoring, which has helped me understand the true needs of modern students.

What is a class with me like?
Each class is designed based on the student's interests and level. I like to start with a brief introduction or review, followed by a practical activity (oral or written) that reinforces the content.

I usually work with a progressive plan, which mixes:

Solid grammatical development (verb tenses, complex structures, textual coherence)

Contextualized communicative practice

Idiomatic expressions, pronunciation and intonation

Cultural and linguistic reflections that arouse curiosity

Particularities of my teaching
Teaching flexibility: I adapt the content to your specific goals (exams, travel, work, general knowledge, etc.)

Balance between theory and practice

Intercultural approach: understanding a language is also understanding the world around it

Authentic accompaniment: I want you to feel accompanied, not evaluated.

Who are these classes for?
My classes are aimed at beginner, intermediate, or advanced students of Spanish, English, or French as a foreign language. They can be useful for:

Young people or adults who want to improve their general level

Students preparing for exams or needing to reinforce their grammar

People interested in improving their conversational fluency or pronunciation

Culture and language enthusiasts looking for an enriching and practical experience
