About Marlene

I have been passionate about the English language since I started learning it in primary school, which made me progress very quickly in my studies. When you love what you study, it is way easier…!

Then I used English on a daily basis in my work in the music industry where I was working with international artists and professionals every day. After 8 years in the media, I decided to leave Paris and I started to work in tourism. I've been lucky to travel and work in many countries, which allowed me to really become fluent in English and to start teaching.

I now live in Sweden where I teach French and English. I have always enjoyed sharing what I love with others, and today I take great pleasure in my work as a teacher.

About the lesson

English:
- I offer courses to students from primary school to high school, following the school programs and the lessons taught by the teacher. My goal is to help my students to progress by teaching in a private environment, tailored to their levels and their difficulties. It is important for me to bond with the student and to listen to make sure that each lesson is well understood, which can be more dificult for them in a classroom.
If possible, I apply the lessons to a passion, a particular interest, everyday life... which allows the student to identify and makes learning much easier and interesting .

- I also offer courses for adults who wish to learn or progress in English. Whether for personal interest or a professional goal. The lessons can be based on grammar as well as conversation, depending on the objectives and desires.

French:
I offer French lessons for students and adults. These courses are conversational and are aimed at people who already have notions of French and wish to practice the language with a native. We can focus the lessons on different topics, whether you want to learn French for your personal interests or for professional reasons. The best way to learn a language and to improve your skills is to immersed yourself in it by practicing and listening as much as possible. I will help you improve your oral comprehension and expression, learn new vocabulary and progress quickly!
