About Kimberly
I've been teaching since 1998 -- and have taught elementary students for six years, middle school students for five years and high school students for three. I've helped quite a few students pass their SAT exams and TOEFL exams. I taught college education courses to prospective teachers in South Korea and computer science to college students in the U.S. for five years. I've also been an assistive technology specialist and a vocational coordinator.

I have a Doctorate in Education from Texas Tech, a Master of Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelors and Masters from Southern Polytechnic State University in Georgia. I was a project engineer when I finished my undergraduate (with Southern Engineering Company) and progressed to teaching because I enjoyed research and computer applications. I try to personalize my lessons by understanding the learner's perspective. I spend quite a bit of time trying to accommodate lessons to meet students' needs, especially gifted students and those with learning challenges.
