About Vinaya
I am a print journalist who had been working with newspapers including the Times of India till April 30th, 2021. Since the editions were shutting down due to Covid-19, we were told to submit our resignations, which led me to teaching. I have worked with the Times of India since 9 years. Prior to which I have worked with many other newspapers like the Indian Express, Press Association(national news agency of the UK), Don Bosco Technical Institute (Wayanad), Mphasis(Mangaluru), UAE Exchange(Abu Dhabi) and GE Capital International services(Hyderabad). While working, I also pursued my academic interests. Graduated in Microbiology from Pune University, picked my PG diploma in Journalism from MASCOM, Kottayam, Masters in English Literature from IGNOU, LLB from MGU, Kerala. Now pursuing my LLM from Govt Law College, Ernakulam and masters in Economics from IGNOU.

I believe in "learning by doing". Unless or until the student does it on their own, they won't learn it. Listening is not leaning. Telling is not teaching. Doing is. I believe in the age-old adage that practice makes a man/woman perfect. There is no shortcut to hard work. At the same time, learning can be fun. It is a two-way process of transfer of information. 8
