About Emma
I am a primary school teacher & have been teaching since 2013. I moved from Northern Ireland to London to teach, & have made it my home. I have a PGCE, a degree in English Literature & A Levels in English, Maths & French.

I try and communicate a passion for English & maths, in the hope that this is passed on to my students. I start each new topic by assessing each student’s prior knowledge through their verbal responses (if by webcam) & then filling any gaps. I then follow the national curriculum for their age or level, making lessons as engaging as possible whilst focusing on conceptual understanding.
