About Zoe
English tutor in central foundation girl’s school. I have a passion for motivating students and increasing their confidence in learning. I am also currently working at a community centre where I tutor students on English whether it is English language or literature related this includes poetry, creative writing and general grammar or even exam practice including working on spellings and tips. I have worked alongside teachers to ensure that potentially underachieving students make the necessary academic progress and gives me a chance to have a one to one and group tutoring of students I have developed numerous skills like offering constructive feedback and providing assistance on exam technique and study skills.

I mark the students work and give specific feedback which they can improve on. I am able to solve any problems students have in areas of study they don’t understand and able to correct them effectively.
I first investigate areas of weakness of students by setting different tasks which look at the effectiveness in different areas of English e.g. spelling and grammar or literature or structuring paragraphs etc. To know specifically where they go wrong and then work on that by setting tasks and correcting them by breaking down information and going over it slowly and carefully.
