About Abby
I have been giving private lessons for about 3 years to help students with 11+ preparation. I have recently begun teaching secondary school students and having just completed my A Levels, I know exactly what students need to obtain high grades. I studied A Levels in English Literature, Mathematics, Spanish and Theatre Studies.

I use a combination of teaching methods in my lessons. I do a lot of discussion-based learning as this enables the student to engage with the material and develop a stronger understanding and passion for it. I also believe in the importance in regular testing, for subjects such as Spanish and Maths. For English literature, the ability to write eloquently is foremost, but an appreciation of texts studied is something I aim to develop with students.
