About Rhys

I'm a native speaker of the English language from Kolkata, West Bengal, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Education from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. I have exclusively studied English Literature for five years while pursuing a bachelor's and master's degree in English, and I have been teaching English Literature and spoken English as a private tutor for almost eight years now. My desire to interact with, help and impact students by sharing my knowledge and mastery of the subject and my love for the same is what drives me as a teacher/tutor. Given that teaching is a two-way, mutually enriching learning process, I'm always looking forward to learning so much from my students.

About the lesson

There's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to teaching. The needs and capabilities of every student are distinctly unique, and so I tailor my techniques and approach as a teacher according to an individual student's requirements. Being a student myself, I can easily understand, empathize with, and relate to students, which substantially aids the teaching-learning process. I'm interested in teaching school students from classes 6 to 12, and college students pursuing their graduation and postgraduation in English.
