About Vanessa

I am a student for high school teaching since this year. I graduated from high school in March last year and then went to America for almost 4 months. In America I worked as a camp counselor in an holiday camp and was also allowed to teach smaller courses such as German language and culture. It was a lot of fun for me to work with different teaching methods and to teach children, which where from 6 to 14 years old, the german language. Then I made a small tour through the southwestern side of the United States. During this time I was able to learn a lot about American culture, American English and of course I improved my English language skills.

About the lesson

I am Vanessa and I believe that English lessons or English tutoring should be offered to everyone, regardless of their language level, that they already achieved or whether it is for private or school purposes. You do not need to present a specific certificate to me, you just need some previous knowledge (at least level of primary school) and the will to learn, regardless of whether you are a student or would like to expand your knowledge privately.

The course is designed individually for each student. It is important to me that the content of the course is constructed by your personal level of understanding. Therefore I offer you a fillable form to clarify whether you want to continue your education in English as a student or for private purposes and whether you have certain wishes or difficulties that you would like to deal with in our lessons / tutoring hours.

In America, I was able to improve my language skills primarily by interacting with others in the English language. That's why it is important to me that we practice what we have learned so far (e.g. question words) a lot so that you are able to use this knowledge more and to keep it in mind for a long time more easily (e.g. by asking different questions about a topic / text). Otherwise, I work with all kinds of things: pictures, smaller texts, grammar exercises, free writing tasks, summaries or certain types of text, exercises that you have to complete for school or grammar books with which you have to work at school etc.

I am happy to offer a little acquaintance -talk to or a free trial lesson if you want to convince yourself of my skills.
