About Amy
I have one year of experience in tutoring English, reading and writing, taught on an individual basis.
As a preschool teacher, I was responsible for lesson planning, guiding and supervising 15 children,
and was a regular volunteer for a Kindergarten class, which involved reading, writing, and math tutoring.

I have had a career as a photographer for 20+ years, but am also a writer/journalist for a newspaper based in the South and West Loop, and have proofread and edited several manuscripts, both fiction and non-fiction.
I have been and English and reading tutor for Wyzant, and my writing and reading score for the GREs
was the 92 percentile (92%.)
I have also taught preschool, in a 3-5 year old classroom, and have 10 credits in Early Childhood Education; am comfortable working with children and adults.
My bachelor's degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Communications, but I took
almost as many writing and literature classes.
