About Terrie
Trustworthy, patience, and fair are my foremost qualities. Communication, listening, and adaptability are my next skill strengths. I want students to know I am approachable at all times-during instructional time. They may ask questions if an assignment or lesson is unclear; nonetheless, I expect them to contribute to a respectable, dignified, and serious classroom setting that is conducive to learning.
To speak in honesty I have to admit my seriousness and appreciation of good quality education flourished more when I explored higher learning and begin seeking a career to sustain my livelihood. I took a class in Early Childhood Development, academics, and Spanish. That excludes some technical classes I engaged in. It was then I appreciated more fully my early school years as a child and young adult. My greatest start to professionalism was being attentive to the genuinely caring professionals during my early years.

Small group instruction, encourages lots of interactive and participation verbal communication, writing, , visual, and hands on games. Limit ditto sheet lessons. A written lesson plan includes: materials, time required, assessment, and evaluation. Patience and genuine love for the art of good education sets me apart. I do not like fast moving curriculum; yet I do know a good learning pace is inevitable. Staying with a lesson until the student really understand is important. Repetition / resuming a lesson; at times, might be necessary. The lessons I will conduct are in the interest of the students. However, my personal interest is to do what I love and strife to work well at it.
