About Mahmud
I was born in New Jersey USA and have travelled to over 20 countries around the world. I have taught many years at university and school level in Afghanistan when I was working at a department of defense contracting company. I have also taught ESOL in Northern Virginia for the past couple of years. I am currently an ESOL Teacher at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, VA.

I work one of two ways, just as an English teacher. I have many years of experience working with non English speakers from around the world. Second way is to help children or adults with their school work and teach them the language through the course work.
I am easy to get along with. I have a good relationship with children of all ages and adults.
Without basic conversational skills, we cannot function in society and I've learned that anyone can learn if they try.

Sometimes kids are good at language but are over loaded with information and assignments they have to finish. It takes a tutor/teacher to help them clear their mind and give them a plan to work on prioritizing assignments. When they focus on completing one assignment at a time, they see amazing amounts of progress. Maybe your child needs this kind of help. If yes, then I'm your guy.
