About Mila
I first began learning English in a Montessori preschool and have since become English-dominant. My home language was Spanish, and I have studied French, Portuguese, and even a bit of Norwegian. Listening to foreign languages is like natural caffeine, and I enjoy seeing any progress whether it's in me as a student or in my students.

I can adjust my lessons to student needs. Some students may just want to practice speaking informally. Others may want to improve in a specific topic. Most of my language learning and instruction was done with the teacher providing target language for the student to learn and practice. For my TESOL certification, I learned to base instruction on language that students produced.
