About Katlin
I struggled through school because the teacher methods werebery by the book when I was in school, they didn’t adapt to a child’s learning style the way they so now, and I strongly believe that you need to be on the same page when it comes to learning. In the past if you never understood you were taught how to do it and it was that way or you failed to me it shouldn’t matter how your taught if the outcome is the same and the answer is correct. So instead of “Lucy has 4 pieces of candy and gives her brother Joey 3 pieces of candy how many candies do they have together” I would find out what their favorite thing is whether it be food, movies, games whatever it may be something that gets them excited and use that instead of candy and use them and their family or friends as the characters in the equation.

I was born and raised in Canada, I attended grades P-12 in the English curriculum I was never in a class of another language, my methods are easy to understand and straightforward, by using life examples and experiences it becomes easier to relate to the individual, I like to have try and make learning fun i have 2 kids 3&13 so a fun learning process is a must to make it memorable.
