About David

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and a Master’s degree in Linguistics. I have also studied several courses related to Language Teaching. As for my professional career, it has been mostly centered on teaching in all types of classes: support classes, private classes, company classes, university classes, etc.

According to my students, my best strength in class is patience. I try to be as professional as possible and do my best in each of my classes, focusing on the learning development and the needs of my students. After all, we all learn very differently.

About the lesson

Welcome! I am bilingual teacher who has experience teaching English and Spanish at different levels and ages. Also, I offer classes centered on any of the communicative skills - speaking, writing, listening or reading - and support classes for children and teenagers, except for Catalan and other science-based subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology.

My speciality is teaching languages or any area in the field of Linguistics, as well as Literature. However, I am also capable of teaching basic concepts of Information Technology and Maths to young students.

My classes are completely personalized, with a methodology that matches the needs of my student or students. When I teach a foreign or second language, I give a lot of importance to the communicative skills and thus my classes will be centered on practicing these skills in the class. Besides, I like using all kinds of materials, ranging from photocopies to Internet resources.

The fee varies depending on the type of class and whether it is at home or at the student's place. I charged 15 € / h in support classes at home. The other classes are charged 17 € / h. If I have to commute to the student's place there is a bonus of € 3 to be charged to each class; even if the class lasts two hours. It is possible to get a bonus of 10 classes paid in advance. This rate is reduced to 5% of the total.
