About Maria Eliza

I am a self-motivated and progress-driven classroom teacher and ESL tutor with an extensive background in this industry. I have developed and executed strategies that I believe will bring value to your English communication skills learning.

Since 2020, I have also worked as an ESL teacher, developing strong skills in lesson planning, student engagement, and adapting instruction to diverse learners. With my ability to learn quickly and adjust to new environments, I am confident I can contribute effectively and become a valuable tutor to students.

I have effective communication skills and the motivation to take on challenging work. Additionally, I'm skilled at speaking, classroom instruction and student assistance. I am confident that I have the drive, knowledge, and experience you need.

About the lesson

My experience as a teacher has allowed me to develop strategies that quickly improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, while also building confidence. Many of my students have gone on to excel in school exams, career opportunities, and personal communication, demonstrating the effectiveness of my teaching approach.
I base my teaching on three core principles:
1. Engagement: Lessons are interactive and stimulating, using games, role-plays, and real-life topics to make learning memorable.
2. Personalization: I tailor every lesson to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
3. Confidence-Building: I create a safe environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities, helping students speak freely and grow naturally.
I believe that learning English should be enjoyable and practical, not just about memorizing rules. My goal is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and mindset to communicate effectively in any situation.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading, storytelling, music, and exploring literature, which I integrate into lessons to make learning meaningful and relatable. Understanding students’ interests allows me to create customized lessons that keep learners motivated and engaged.
I also value cultural awareness, encouraging students to practice English in authentic contexts, such as conversations, media, or cultural activities. My goal is to foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning, making English accessible and enjoyable for every student.
