About Karen
Online only classes that can be group or individual, focusing on the student's needs. Also, I like to work with some ready-made materials, which I have always worked as basic guides for the progress of classes. In classes I work with all the skills: oral, written, listening and understanding, however, the main focus of the classes is conversation. I love to think of classes as a moment of reflection, mutual learning and personal development. For this reason, I always propose classes that can make the student feel motivated to increasingly see sense in learning English, not only as one of the main languages within the job market or because it is one of the most spoken, but, rather, as a form of personal transformation.

I have a degree in Letters / English from UNESP / Assis and I am currently completing my master's degree from UNESP / Araraquara, in Literary Studies. I teach since 2014 and since then I have had experiences with all ages, from children (from 2 years old) to adults. I have experience in both language schools and regular schools, where I was able to further develop my knowledge of the language and methods of teaching English. I had a brief but very intense experience in Malta where I took an intensive one-month English language course at the "ACE English Malta" school, achieving the C1 level certification in 2017.
