About Selma
I have worked as an English teacher for over 8 years both offline and online.
I have a background in Economics and Investment Banking, so I love to discuss business with whoever lends an ear. I worked for Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Facebook offices in London.
I always wanted to teach, after 16 years of banking I have decided to combine my banking experience with education. My students are from all around the World ( China, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Germany, France, Italy, Spain....)

Teaching through role-playing is a great way to make children step out of their comfort zone and develop their interpersonal skills. The role-playing approach will help a student understand how the academic material will be relevant to his everyday tasks. For children I use the role- playing “Going to the Shop” by giving the basics of interacting with people plus key phrases “
I would like…” “How much are…” “Good morning…”
For adults I usually use the “Job Interview” role-playing, I get the interviewer to prepare some questions and the student takes it from there. Booking a hotel, Telephone Conversation role-playings are most effective for students of almost any age group.
