About Barbara
I have 10 years of experience as an English teacher in England, Senegal, Cape Verde, Morocco and Malaysia. I am specialized in the Phonics approach for the teaching of letters and sounds in English to develop better independent reading ability and pronunciation of words. I have extensive experience in IELTS, FCE and CAE, as well as in the design of tailor-made courses.

My method of teaching is the communicative methodology, which is based on the ability to express oneself adequately in a specific situation, with topics and content relevant to the student, which encourages interest in the learning process. In turn, I develop the language and the abilities of the student according to their limitations when carrying out the main task of each class.
