About Liliso
Hello everyone! My name is Liliso. I am an experienced English teacher from South Africa. I have extensive experience and knowledge in ESL instruction with expertise in teaching English as a Home (First) Language and Second Language. I would love to share my enthusiasm with the student on this platform. I’ve been working with diverse students of all levels in my field of work. My background includes teaching learners with special needs , learners with learning challenges and disabilities and full classroom teaching, all with the aim of helping students achieve their goals. Throughout my career, I’ve been recognized for my work ethic and effectiveness. I’m greatly passionate about my profession, and I love helping others improve their English. My lessons mostly focus on the following
1. Communicative language teaching: emphasizes the students’ ability to communicate in real-life contexts, and students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences.
2. Direct method of teaching: all teaching is done in the target language and the focus lies heavily on speaking and understanding of grammar through speaking the target language. This makes the direct method a very student-centered strategy as learning becomes more practical.
