About Afshin
Hello and welcome to my page! I am a freelance artist and teacher. I believe teaching is the best way of learning. That’s why I have been teaching ESL (both online and face-to-face) for more than 18 years in different countries to students of different nationalities with different learning backgrounds and goals. The experience of teaching a highly diverse student body has played a significant role in my teaching career. It improved my ability to think, learn and interact with people from other cultures, and I learned how to deal with students of various backgrounds. I believe the best lesson plan is the one that has been made based on the student’s level, interests, goals, timeline, and needs. Thus, my teaching style is very personable and flexible. I use a conversational and interactive method of teaching through documentaries, video clips, and movies. In addition, we will do also some reading, and grammar lessons as needed. It all depends on what you want to learn, let me know and I will make you a personalized lesson plan.
