About Alex
I have six years of formal teaching experience and am committed to creating a fun and positive learning environment for my students. I believe in building lasting professional relationships with students and know that my students often have as much to teach me as I have to teach them. Most of my teaching career has been dedicated to teaching English as a Foreign Language but I also experience teaching Language Arts, History and Social Studies at the secondary level as well as basic Math and Science.

Whether you're a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or reading/writing learner, I have lesson plans for you. And if you're unsure of you're learning style we'll find out together. The main features of my lesson are that they are fun and interactive.
I have experience teaching a wide range of English language learners from those with zero English knowledge to those who are fluent speakers. Whatever your goals, I'm confident that I can help you reach them.
