About Tanya
I am a professional English tutor with many years of experience. My background is in Education from Purdue University. I was born and raised in the United States, so English is my native language. I enjoy helping people learn English to help them improve their lives in the US and also help them with communicating with their coworkers.
Many of my students have said that I have helped them not only learn the English language, but also to better understand American culture.

First, I will send an online English test to your email address to check your current level and we meet for an initial 15-minute consultation.
I have mostly taught adult students from Japan, but I have also taught students from Burma/Myanmar, Poland, and Tanzania.
Most of my students have had at least two years of experience in an English speaking country or have learned English in their home country.
We can work as conversation partners or I can teach you English grammar, phrasal verbs, and idioms using a more formal approach.
