Hello! My name is Ruth, and I’m a dedicated college student with a strong command of English and a genuine interest in helping others communicate with confidence.

I’m a patient, responsible, and approachable tutor who takes every lesson seriously. I understand that learning a language can feel intimidating, especially when you’re afraid of making mistakes, so I strive to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.

I’m committed to being well-prepared, punctual, and attentive to each student’s individual needs. Whether you’re just starting to learn English or simply want more opportunities to practice, I’ll do my best to make every lesson productive, comfortable, and encouraging.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Ruth, a college student who enjoys helping others improve their English in a comfortable and encouraging environment.

My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and expressing themselves. I use simple explanations, guided conversations, questions, examples, and gentle corrections to help students understand and remember what they learn.

A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or conversation to understand the student’s current level and goals. We then focus on the main lesson, whether that involves speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or everyday English. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to participate rather than simply listen. We finish by reviewing what we learned and identifying areas to practice.

What sets me apart is my patience and willingness to adapt. I can adjust my speaking pace, explanations, and activities depending on the learner’s level and personality. I especially want my lessons to feel welcoming for shy students who may be nervous about speaking English.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, elementary to intermediate learners, students who want to practice conversation, and anyone who wants to become more confident using English in everyday situations
