English tutoring for junior high through college, including term paper assistance as well
Methodology
I am a certified high school English teacher. I have taught seventh grade through college. My lesson will be structured based upon what the individual student needs. In particular, I am happy to correspond with the student's teacher to determine what type of assistance he or she needs the most. I am also willing to assist students in writing papers, including editing.
Background
I have been teaching since 2010. I have taught ninth grade and remedial college courses most recently, so I am familiar with both literature and grammar and have used methods to assist students in understanding both. Through my remedial course, students that were previously judged as having insufficient skills to start college were able to score well enough on a placement exam to begin the next semester.

I am a certified teacher in middle and secondary English with a Master's in the Arts of Teaching. In addition, I have a Bachelor's in English with an emphasis on technical writing and approximately twelve hours of coursework toward an MA in literature. I have taught remedial college English from 2011-2014 and long term substituted in a ninth grade English class. I also taught English as a second language.
