About Samuel
Greetings! My name is Samuel, and I completed my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Claremont McKenna College with a 3.96 GPA. During my college years, I had the privilege of working as a teaching assistant for an Introduction to Chemistry course. Concurrently, I provided private tutoring in science, mathematics, writing, and music theory to middle and high school students from local low-income communities.
My mission in tutoring is not only to help my students achieve their academic goals but also to instill a genuine appreciation for the subjects we explore together. I believe that fostering curiosity and a love for learning is just as crucial as mastering the material itself. During my free time, I enjoy trying different foods with my partner, watching Star Wars, and building Lego sets. I look forward to the opportunity to embark on a learning journey with you, where we can explore, discover, and achieve academic success together!

This not only solidifies their understanding but also enhances critical thinking skills. I aim to cater to individual needs, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the subject matter.
What distinguishes me as a tutor is my dedication to meeting students at their academic abilities. I prioritize creating a supportive and positive learning environment, where I not only assist in achieving academic goals but also aim to instill a joy for learning. My diverse experience, from being a teaching assistant to private tutoring, equips me with versatile approaches to cater to different learning needs.
I have previously worked with students from middle school to college and enjoy helping any and all students in sciences, math, and writing. My goal is to make the learning journey enjoyable and rewarding for students of various academic backgrounds.
