About Eva

Teaching guitar for eight years has been a truly fulfilling experience, especially working with students from school and college backgrounds who bring their own unique goals and musical tastes. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning both structured and creative, helping students build strong technical foundations while nurturing their artistic expression. I start with essential techniques such as proper finger positioning, smooth chord changes, rhythm, and timing, building skills that enable students to play confidently and comfortably. At the same time, I integrate improvisation, songwriting, and music theory in a practical way that keeps lessons interesting and meaningful. Using music that students connect with helps maintain motivation and enjoyment. One highlight of my teaching career was mentoring a group of students who formed a band and performed successfully at local festivals and school events. Watching their growth in musicianship, confidence, and teamwork was incredibly rewarding. Beyond guitar technique, I focus on developing patience, discipline, focus, and emotional expression through music. I strive to create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel supported as they explore their creativity and develop their unique musical voice. Whether your goals are casual or professional, I am dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.

Teaching Guitar is about much more than just learning notes and chords—it’s about helping you express yourself through music and enjoy the journey of discovery. My approach focuses on making lessons relevant to your musical tastes and personal goals, so every practice session feels exciting and purposeful. I help you build skills gradually and confidently, breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts and connecting theory and technique to real songs you love.

Motivation is central, and I work to create an encouraging environment where you feel supported and empowered. When you encounter difficulties, I don’t rush to give you quick fixes; instead, I help you understand why the challenge exists and how to overcome it through problem-solving. I teach with integrity, offering honest and constructive feedback while always respecting your pace and style of learning.

Whether you prefer playing by ear, reading music, or exploring theory, I tailor lessons to fit your needs. I also teach improvisation, songwriting, and performance skills to help you grow as a complete musician. Whether your goal is casual playing or serious musicianship, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
