About Esther

Over the past six years, teaching has been a valuable and fulfilling experience for me, especially when it comes to tutoring my native language. As a Korean language tutor, I take pride in creating a flexible and welcoming environment for my students, where they can freely make mistakes and ask any questions. My ultimate goal is not only to provide insight into the language but also to share my passion for Korean culture.

About the lesson

Both one-to-one and group lessons are available so feel free to grab a friend and learn Korean together with me! My lessons are for beginners or intermediate levels, and can be oriented to personal interests of the student! To improve conversational skills, lessons are tailored to building basic grammar and vocabulary relevant to practical situations. Lessons are 1 hour for practicing speaking and reading through newly learned grammar and vocabulary using different medium. Learn Korean by using various Korean media content along with my notes and resources!

Perfect! My experience with Esther as a Korean teacher is a 10/10. Her quality of teaching is amazing and provides great resources. I feel like she has really been helping me towards achieving my goal and dream of speaking Korean. I don't even view her as a teacher, but more as a good friend also. She's very patient, encouraging, and kind. I would recommend her to anyone who's interested in wanting to learn Korean. I wouldn't want anyone else as my teacher besides Esther. She's the best, truly.

Perfect! Esther was very helpful & patient with teaching me new vocabulary and gave me many useful materials to assist with my grammar and speaking. I definitely recommend Esther if you are looking for a Korean tutor as she has greatly improved my ability to communicate and understand the language.

It was a pleasure teaching Harrison, very hard working and was diligent in trying to memorise vocabulary and revising lesson content! Harrison improved his grammar and vocabulary in a short period of time and asked a lot of practical questions which will help him in casual conversations.

Esther is an amazing Korean tutor! She has a friendly and encouraging personality, and helped me prepare for my trip to Korea. She was able to explain difficult concepts well, and made sure I was able to understand them fully. The lessons are well structured and felt like they were building off the material learned in the previous lesson, which made learning a new language feel a lot less scary. Would definitely recommend!

Esther has previously spent some time teaching me Korean. She is very polite and enthusiastic towards her students and was very encouraging. Esther was really good at explaining the differences and nuances between English and Korean as she was very proficient in both languages.
