About Bharathi

I'm Bharathi and I am currently a second year medical student and I have a degree in Psychology. During my time at university I have come to realise that whilst being interested in the topics taught to me, the ones which I enjoyed the most were being taught by professors who are passionate in what they teach. They were not only engaging during the lecture, they were also willing to go the extra mile outside of classes and this is what helped me to excel in my studies and ignited an interest in me to also have a similar impact.
This is one of the reasons why I got into tutoring informally for family and friends' children. My experience has been very rewarding and I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey as I am able to impart my knowledge and help those who need the extra push to achieve their targets. I am a very patient person and take my time to help my student to understand the topic at hand. My educational experiences have taught me you will have full understanding of a topic when you are able to explain it to someone else and make them understand it too.
I have a very active approach in the way I tutor, and prefer to take a methods which are learner-centred. Each student varies in the way they learn and I adapt my style to ensure they can reach their full-potential. I am keen on regular tests in order to track my students' progress and pin-point areas which need some more work.
My psychology degree enables me to teach in a holistic manner and helps me to understand the student better so I can form an appropriate plan for teaching.

Overall, I am an enthusiastic individual who is easy-going and committed to building the confidence of students' in their academic studies. My teachers from a young age invested their time in me and I am extremely grateful to them, and I want to have the same impact on others.
