About Isabelle

I am a 3rd year student studying French at Exeter University, and have just come back from my 7 month year abroad in Paris! While I don't hold formal tutoring qualifications, my firsthand experience navigating daily life, conversing with locals, and studying in a French-speaking environment has honed my language skills to a level I believe is not only proficient but also adept at aiding others in comprehension and fluency. My passion for French extends beyond the classroom, deeply interested by French culture and history, and I'm eager to share this with you in our lessons together!

About the lesson

In my tutoring approach, flexibility is key – I'm all about tailoring our sessions to fit exactly what you're looking for. We'll dive deep into French conversation, where you'll be encouraged to speak up and express yourself freely within our hour together. I'll come prepared with discussion topics, from role-playing to discussing texts to having a debate. Let me know what interests you, and I'll make sure to shape our lessons around your passions. We'll cover a wide range of themes and subjects, enriching your vocabulary and boosting your confidence to tackle any topic that comes your way. Of course, I will also help you with your grammar, helping you refine your conversational French and provide clear explanations, both spoken and written. I am a very friendly and charismatic individual and aim to create a very amicable environment where we can improve your French!
