About Isabelle

Hello, my name is Isabelle. I am a half-French, half-British tax professional who grew up in France, in a town near Bordeaux in the South-West.

I have lots of years of tutoring experience, from children as young as 3 up to adults of 77 years of age, of all different skill sets.

Here are some of my highlights from my work:

. One of my A-Level tutees managed to raise her grade average from a C to an A in French in the space of four months.
. Another of my tutees was told by her teacher to move up to the ‘advanced’ set in French at her school.
. My work with British pensioners who retired in France, helping them to navigate the basics of the French language and the French culture, aided them to be confident enough to now get by, by themselves.

As a student of languages myself, I truly understand the key factors needed to progress and my experience and enthusiasm guarantees a tailored, engaging and successful session.
