I am a dedicated student, dancer, and small business owner.
I have been tutoring for over 5 years in the subjects of math and science. I have worked with students with all ranges of understanding and have had much success with them all.
I am currently in my 2nd year of biology and math at Carleton University.

I sculpt my teaching methods depending on the needs of the student and I have mastered various ways of teaching depending on learning style (visual vs. auditory for example).
A typical tutoring session includes a review of last weeks topics. If it is evident that you have a thorough understanding of the topics then we discuss new topics. The techniques used to teach these topics depends on the student's needs as a learner. At the end of each session, I give my students take-home problems/exercises to try so that they can develop their understanding of their own.
All the topics covered are selected by the student. I assume that each of my students come prepared with a list of topics they would like to cover.
