About Natasha

I have been tutoring for almost 4 Years now and I have experience working 1-1 with SEN within a primary school, and have been working within childcare for a number of years. I am currently working as a Nanny with a family whom I have worked for for over a year.

About the lesson

Hi there,
My name is Natasha and I am currently studying towards a degree in Health science. I have offered tutoring services for almost 4 years now and I am returning back after having my little boy. I have previously worked with students from EYFS , up to GCSE however my main experience is primarily KS1 to KS3 Maths and English. I have worked one to one with children with SEN within a primary school setting and I have provided childcare services for 2 Years. Whilst working within an educational environment , I was fortunate enough to have undertaken many relevant training courses which include First aid, Safeguarding and Working with children with SEN. I have also taken away many effective teaching methods and I have had the opportunity to work with children from the ages of 3-11. I also have had experience working as a crèche worker where the curriculum was mainly play based and involved activities to encourage the development of the child’s physical and social ability. I currently work as a Nanny for a family whom I have worked with for over a year. I would consider myself to have an informal teaching approach as I do believe children learn at their best when they are able to be themselves so for that reason I aim to provide and enthusiastic and promoting learning environment for each student. I tend to focus more so on simplifying methods and creating visual revision material to to help my students understand broader terminology. I choose to spend the time I have with my students developing learning methods and to helping them to engage with there subjects, I am happy to construct learning plans with parents so we are both comfortable with the progression goals. As I can understand the pressure when looking for a tutor aswell as the potential worry from the student, I do my absolute best to ensure it is as easy as possible and that the student is at ease throughout the sessions. I will also try to be as flexible as possible and I would hope that I can assist your child with any issues they may have. Please feel free to ask any questions. All the best
