About Sean
I fell in love with Spanish in seventh grade, when I took my first language class. I felt that learning a new language opened up a whole new world for me, even if I didn't have the words to express it at the time. I took Spanish all the way through high school AP Spanish and continued my Spanish education in college. I was so fascinated with language-learning that I studied linguistics as well. I am now pursuing acting and writing, but try to incorporate Spanish into my everyday life. As an actor, I have the skills necessary to connect with students as a means to motivate them to achieve their language goals, as well as the skills to help get students into the mindset of a Spanish speaker. As a writer, I understand how language flows and can help particularly with navigating the nuances of Spanish composition and speech (i.e., structure, idiosyncrasies).

I think language-learning should be fun and interesting, so I like to start by getting ourselves into a curious and comfortable mindset by getting to know your goals, personality, and passions. Then, of course, I need to meet you where you are, so I will ask what areas you need help in and what level you're at to determine where our focus should lean.
