About Marina
The first degree I achieved was Computer engineer. Then I obtained Bachelor of Education specialized teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. I have received big experience in teaching all high school Mathematics courses from Principles of Mathematics to Calculus and Vectors of all levels including Advanced Placement.

I start my classes from an entrance ticket based on home work. This assessment as and for learning reflects students' understanding of the previous lesson as well as my further steps. Upon the next topic of the lesson, I post learning goals and conduct the lesson through lectures, investigation, or discovery follow by short tasks (assessments as and/or of learning). As we proceed further and students accumulate knowledge, they learn how to apply this knowledge in applied problems and also learn how to communicate their knowledge through reading of graphs, explaining steps, offer different ways of the solutions, or debating. The culminating activity could be given as test, assignment, or presentation.
