About Benjamin
I have Master Degree (MBA) in Business Administration with 12 years of teaching experience and have a great deal of experience in teaching Business subjects in companies of all sizes in England as a Business Training Consultant. I have taught both Maths and English as part of my job in both classroom and online. I prepare pupils for entrance examinations to Public and Independent schools and 11+, SATS for State schools. I also teach students in Functional Skills Mathematics and English for Awarding Body Qualification. I provide tutoring services online and offline.

I use different teaching approaches in my teaching depending on the learners' learning styles, academic levels, and individual learner needs. I use blended teaching to keep learners engaged and differentiated teaching for inclusivity. I tend to incorporate simulation, videos, practical exercises, and games where possible.
I like to involve students in group discussions for those whose learning preference is group work. I do like to provide detailed explanation with lots of real-life examples in my teaching to keep learners engaged and interested in the subject. I usually ensure that examples I give are related to the learners’ cultural background, to ensure a better understanding of the topic. I do illustrate diagrammatically sometimes.
I email learners with the links for the lesson notes and videos of each lesson. I do employ different teaching approaches and combinations depending on whether it is a group session or one-to-one session. The learner's level of English is a factor, depending on what I may find during the initial induction process, and the formative assessments as we progress with the learning process.
