About Suzi

I am a third-year studying PPE at the University of Oxford from Kendal, Cumbria, based in Oxford. Despite its tripartite nature, my degree is 75% Philosophy due to the options I have pursued. I completed A Levels in Maths, Computer Science, and Philosophy, and an AS Level in Further Maths. I have been tutoring for over a year now.

I have an exceptional academic record and am predicted to leave university with a 1st class degree. Prior to this, I achieved A*A*A at A Level, and all 9s at GCSE Level.

About the lesson

I am keen to share my knowledge and help students to gain confidence in and enthusiasm for Philosophy as a subject. My lessons will offer plenty of opportunities to practice: together, we will work through past papers and example questions. We will also discuss ideas together more broadly to improve critical, philosophical thinking. As someone who enjoys Philosophy greatly, and is very successful at Philosophy in my degree, I am confident that I can help students achieve their potential.

In the case that a student has exams coming up, I will help them by focusing more on exam technique to improve marks.

If of interest, I can offer sessions to help prepare for the TSA admissions exam, and interview preparation for PPE.

Details

First session will be dedicated to discussing what you want out of our tutoring sessions, and figuring out a regular schedule going forwards. The session can be up to an hour, but this may not be necessary.
