About Andrew
After 17 years working as a primary school classroom teacher, I have worked as a tutor and supply teacher for eight years. During this time I have worked with a wide range of pupils, including a period as a teacher in a school for pupils with behavioural needs, and now have a client base ranging from a 5 to 42 years old.
I believe that learning should be fun and tailored to individual pupil's needs and abilities. My tutoring sessions aim to ensure that pupils develop a secure understanding of concepts and give them the confidence to use what they have learned in their work.
My main areas of tutoring focus on Primary English and Mathematics. I am happy to provide online tutoring support on a long-term or short-term basis, depending on the level of need, weekdays between 9am and 3pm.
