About Maia

I’m a vocal instructor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Vocal Performance. I teach singers at every level, including school, college, and adult performers. My focus is helping students develop the skills needed for musical theater and Broadway performance.

In my lessons, storytelling through music is essential. I guide students in character acting through song while strengthening stage presence and performance confidence. Belt technique and vocal agility are also key elements of my training approach.

I help singers build strong musical foundations through ear training, harmony work, improvisation, and music theory. These skills make learning music faster and more intuitive. At the same time, I emphasize healthy vocal habits.

I believe every voice deserves personalized attention and encouragement. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and designed to help singers grow with confidence. Let’s start your musical journey and prepare you for the stage.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching singing focuses on both artistic expression and technical development. Each lesson is structured to match the student’s learning pace and goals. Students from beginner to advanced levels receive clear guidance and support.

Core training includes breath support, tone balance, pitch control, and vocal flexibility. Belt technique and vocal agility are also practiced to expand performance ability.

Musicianship is strengthened through ear training, harmony exercises, improvisation, and music theory. These skills help singers become more independent musicians.

Practical recording skills are also included in lessons. Students learn microphone technique and how to manage distance, tone, and volume when recording vocals.

Studio etiquette is discussed so singers feel confident working in professional environments. Vocal layering and harmony stacking are practiced to create richer recordings.

We also explore how effects like reverb and delay shape the final vocal sound. Understanding these tools helps singers perform more effectively.

The goal is to help dedicated vocal students produce recordings that sound polished and professional.
