About Alex
I am a first year physics student who just graduated wit 4 A* in his A-levels. I used to work for a tutoring company specialising in students whose native language wasn't English and I taught them maths, physics, and chemistry and also guiding them through the entrance process for top UK high schools.

My priority when tutoring is to understand the student's learning style, and then structure the lesson around it. In essence, I tailor my lessons to my students needs and style, which allows them to benefit the most from the lesson. Ensuring that the basic concepts and exam techniques are well understood allows for my students to apply their knowledge efficiently to achieve the top grades. Independent learning is also crucial so I take pride in helping my students find their most productive style of learning. As well as working to improve a student's understanding, I intend to help student's build their own relationship with the subject and fully unleash their curiosity.
