About Megan
I am a native English speaker who spent 4 months abroad learning Spanish. I understand the struggle, excitement, and reward in learning another language! I have experience tutoring college students in Spanish, facilitating classes for elementary/middle schoolers, and creating instructional design content used for training in a corporate setting. No matter where you are in your journey to learn English, I am eager and ready to help you!

My teaching method will depend on YOU! I find that different interests and different skill sets require different teachings! I plan for most of my lessons to be CONVERSATION based rather than LESSON based. In an ideal class, we will have various conversation points to talk about. These conversations will vary on the student's fluency level and level of interest. To conclude the class, I will summarize where the student did well and where they could improve. I will give lessons for grammar, vocabulary, spelling, etc. upon request. In my experience while learning Spanish, engaging in genuine conversation was the most effective way to catch on and begin speaking fluently.
